The company was founded in 2012 in Helsinki, Finland by Pekka Koskinen, Herkko Kiljunen, and Vicent Llongo with the mission to bring better web intelligence sales and marketers.

Leadfeeder secured $3.1 million in series A funding in 2019 from investors Endeit Capital, Superhero Capital, and Vendep Capital.
