What can I do with the data in Target?

How up-to-date is the data in Target?

Our crawlers regularly scan the web for the newest updates and changes daily. The crawls happen at different intervals for each filter or Trigger Events.

How do you make sure the contact details in Target are accurate?

We are aware that contact details, especially email addresses, change frequently. So, to ensure we give you the correct address, we use an Email Validation Engine to find all publicly available email addresses online. Then, using an automated 8-step algorithm, we can calculate the most likely email for any contact via pattern recognition. Lastly, we run mail server checks and bounce detection to validate all seen and calculated email addresses–ensuring the email addresses are correct and reachable.

What are “trigger events”?

Trigger events can give you the latest news and indicate changes within the companies. These changes may include relocation, expansion, job offers, and management changes – and could mean that a company may now have an acute need for your services or products. With Target, you can find companies directly relevant to you, filter through 33 Trigger Events, and identify opportunities through current needs.

How does the creation of similar companies work?

Our self-developed neural network, Company2Vec, analyzes all relevant public content like websites, trade register descriptions, and more. All topics are extracted and encoded as “vectors” that build a fingerprint for the respective company. The vectors then plot each company into a high-dimensional space resulting in a list of similar companies.

Where does the data in Target come from?

All data on Leadfeeder, including Target, is built using official trade registers, enriched by public web data, and then cross-referenced with directory records. We have developed a neural network that analyzes all relevant public content, like websites, trade register descriptions, and more. Our self-designed crawler technologies also automatically extract contact details from all available online sources like social media profiles, news articles, trade registers, and diverse databases.
